Produced using both fresh and dried citrus peels, the addition of gentian root—a traditional bittering agent commonly used in aperitifs and digestifs—adds an earthy, familiar bitterness that amplifies the fresh citrus flavors, making for a versatile cocktailing ingredient or base for a spritz.
