"Although relatively light in colour, the staggeringly evolutive, complex nose comes closeto an Oloroso in profile, as the mellowing influence of yeast is forgotten. There is also a fairshade of volatility. As usual at Tradici¢n, this takes no prisoners, showing the sheer powerof traditional Jerez wines."

"The 1/24 lot of the NV Amontillado VORS is from July 2024 (handwritten on the label after the bottle number, 770/2400 in my case). It is a wine of exceptional complexity and elegance, true to the style, combining a biological and oxidative phase of aging, which gives it the best of both worlds. It's subtle and elegant, with great balance, incredible for the old age and the concentration that has given it 21% alcohol and 9.94 grams of acidity that lift it up. It's nutty, volatile, saline and complex, very powerful and pungent, with a very long aftertaste. 2,400 hand-numbered bottles were filled in July 2024."
