"An excellent introduction to high-end dry Mosel riesling. This has stacks of slate character, with white peaches and crisp pear fruit. Medium-bodied with notes of white flowers, baking spices and rose hips. Long, structured finish with a stony intensity, but almost no sense of weight. From up to 70-year-old vines. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Alte Reben, picked in the Longuicher Herrenberg and Leiwener Klostergarten from vines 50 and 70 years old, respectively, offers a lovely reduction that crackles with flint on the nose, opening into creamy peach. The concentrated palate has the estate-typical fill with a vivid zestiness that elongates and guides it forward despite its undoubted generosity. Long fresh and lasting."
