"The 2023 Alsace Rouge is a field blend of Pinot Noir with a smaller proportion of Pinot Gris and Auxerrois. This has tender, lovely, ever-so-slightly lifted Pinot Noir aromatics. It was made from the younger vines in sites like Burlenberg and Gruenspiel amongst others. The palate is light, peppery, bright, crunchy and red-fruited, with real pull. This is delicious and slightly rustic but infinitely fresh-faced."
