"The lemon-colored 2021 Grand Cru Schlossberg is clear, refined and floral on the concentrated, slightly iodine, finely tannic and granitic nose that reveals some speck and lemon chutney aromas and is perhaps a little bit reductive at this stage. It has ripe and concentrated apricot flavors. On the palate, this is a quite rich and tight yet still reductive and thus quite hard and phenolic-finishing Riesling that probably doesn't have the generosity and complexity of the 2022 but might also be in a valley today. It's quite dry on the finish and aftertaste. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024."
