"The 2023 Engelgarten is a field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Muscat from alluvial gravels mixed with clay and marl in Bergheim. This is golden in hue, showing its Muscat element with a bright highlight of lemon pith still bound up with flintiness on the nose. The palate is crunchy at first, then relaxing into a note of Mirabelle, showing the ripeness and utter juiciness of 2023. It finishes salty, zesty and long. (Bone-dry)"

"The 2022 Engelgarten is grown behind the winery on alluvial gravel mixed with clay and marl. It is a field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Muscat. The wine is golden in the glass, and a floral note pitched between narcissus and lily hovers above ripe Reine Claude plum with lifted Mirabelle jelly. The palate comes in with fine creaminess and rounded, smooth fruit, edged by Mirabelle skin freshness. This flows generously, almost with emollience, but no fat. (Bone-Dry)"
