"Based on Bennwihr Pinot Blanc, Gris and Noir as well as Auxerrois that are cultivated on a slope and were picked and pressed together, the 2023 Pierres Sauvages opens with a clear and aromatic bouquet of ripe pears and apples as well as earthy notes and a delicate phenol freshness. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a very intense yet well structured, saline and fine grippy white that is absolutely digestible and highly stimulating. It's a fabulous wine for every day and many dishes. Bottled with just 45 milligrams of total sulfur dioxide and 14% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the Domaine Deiss in November 2024."
