Its exclusive Solera has only 38 casks. Aged in the charming bodega “El Aljibe” in Jerez de la Frontera. “Pata de Gallina” is the name for wines that display an above average richness and smoothness, due to high levels of glycerol. Dark gold in colour, with aromas of dried fruits and pipe tobacco.

"I have for years been a fan of this Lustau bottling, which revives a historical substack ofOloroso, softer, smoother, more glyceric and so nicknamed 'hen foot. It does exactly that,with notes of quality butterscotch and bright stone fruits, as well as really good wood, animpression I often have with Lustau. The finesse is something to behold. Fantastic value."
