Agustín Lopez, Mauricio Castro, Marcela Manini and Sebastian Zuccardi first met at the Liceo Agrícola & Enológico School in Mendoza. Over 20 years later, they are still making wine together and produce sparkling cuvees from parcels across the Uco Valley ranging from 1300-1550m above sea level.
Founded in 1995 by a consortium of prominent Italian winemakers, including Alberto Antonini of Antinori and Antonio Morescalchi, Altos Las Hormigas continues to evolve as a winery, but their focus on producing terroir-driven Malbec remains unchanged.
Founded by two friends, Federico Isgró and Santiago Bernasconi, BIRA is a project to watch. Their Italian heritage inspired them to embark on an adventure into Argentina's viticultural past and ultimately led them to establish their Sangiovese-focused project, BIRA, in 2017 in the Uco Valley.
Stella Crinita is a biodynamic project established in 2002, which located in Argentina’s Uco Valley by Joanna Foster and Ernesto Catena. Tied with their combined passion for social and environmental justice, Stella Crinita is guided by these core values in creating authentic and vibrant wines.
Eduardo Soler and two friends started Ver Sacrum in 2012 with the concept of growing and vinifying Rhone varietals. Their winemaking ethos focuses on fresh, low alcohol, lighter skin contact, native yeast, honest, and easy drinking wines.
