After rising to the very top ranks of quality in Rioja with a forward-thinking style and site-specific vineyard focus, Juan-Carlos López de Lacalle of Artadi shocked the world by leaving the Rioja appellation in 2015. He is now forging a bold new path for the future of the region.

Más Que Vinos'  beginnings as friends go back to La Rioja, where three winemakers met: Margarita Madrigal, Alexandra Scmedes, & Goncalo Rodríguez. Today, the three focus their work on the philosophy of cultivating autochthonous varieties: Cencibel, Garnacha, Malvar & Airén.
