Clos Bellane is a small, certified organic domaine run by Stéphane Vedeau, high in the hills of Valréas, in the northernmost section of the Southern Rhône. Pure limestone slopes are found here, peaking at over 400m. These cool-climate wines achieve a balance and purity of the highest caliber.
Clos des Brusquieres is an ultra-traditional 8ha estate in Châteauneuf. They make a single wine from 70+ year old vines that is aged in old foudre and is bottled unfined, unfiltered. Owner Claude Courtil is the godson of the legendary Henri Bonneau, from whom he learned his winemaking practices.
Clos des Papes, one of the great established names of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is currently run by winemaker Paul-Vincent Avril. The winery continues to make what many regard as the best single example of the appellation producing just one red wine and one white wine--no special cuvees!
