REGION: Rhone (Southern)

Stehelin farms about 3 hectares in Gigondas and 1.3 hectares in Sablet. His vines in Gigondas are planted between 100 and 300 meters above sea level and are all in the range of 70-90 years old. 

Château Fortia is located at the heart of the most famous appellation in the southern Rhône Valley, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Regularly swept by the winds of the mistral and enjoying a warm and dry climate, the vines grown on the appellation give rise to powerful, tannic, and concentrated wines.
