Founded in 1886, this 5th generation estate run by Giorgio Conterno produces brilliant, classically styled expressions from the Ginestra cru, renown for wines with dark colors, brooding tannins and incredible aromatics, all hallmarks of its dense, clay-heavy Helvetian soil and high elevation.

Founded with a small piece of the famed Fiasco cru in Castiglione Falletto, the Scavino holdings now extend across 29 ha. After the 2024 passing of Enrico Scavino, old guard of the great Barolo revival, daughters Elisa and Enrica continue producing exquisite Barolo from this storied estate.

Rapa Giovanni Distillery, in the province of Biella, Italy, was founded by the eclectic Giovanni Rapa in 1880. Giovanni’s fondness of flowers and herbs led to distillation following the Italian traditions and recipes, beginning with the now essential cocktailing component, Black Cherry Ratafià.

The Revello family produce five cru Barolo, four from La Morra, including Giachini, Rocche dell’Annunziata, Conca, Gattera and, in Serralunga, Cerretta. Today run by brother and sister team Simone and Elena Revello, this is a young estate that embodies the very essence of La Morra.
