REGION: Penedès

The 400-hectare estate of Can Sumoi sits at six hundred meters of altitude in the Serra de l’Home range in the Penedès. Its 350-year-old farmhouse and stone walls accommodate thirty hectares of old Montonega, Xarel-lo and Sumoll vines cultivated on limestone soils in certified-organic fashion.
Situated in the Penedès region in national park of the Foix River, Clos dels Guarans is located on the shallow side of the litoral mountain range known as Massís del Garraf. Named after a nearly extinct donkey, the winery exudes a love of the land, and a passion for animals.
Conquilla, Catalan for “shell”, is an estate-grown Cava produced in both white and rosé which delivers impeccable, family-farmed quality; an attractive price; and an eye-catching package alluding to its genesis in the sedimentary limestone soils of the Penedès valley west of Barcelona.
