Weingut Schloss Lieser is named for the stunning castle on the Mosel river in Lieser just south of Berkastel-Keus. In the early 1990’s, Thomas Haag began managing the winery and purchased the estate in 1994. The Haag family now owns 25ha including parcels in 8 Grand Cru vineyards along the Mosel.
Selbach is a proprietary brand for the regional wines of Johannes Selbach. Johannes uses his long-standing relationships with growers around the Mittelmosel to source quality grapes for these cuvees, keeping these wines inexpensive and serving as a great introduction to Mosel Riesling.
