Chateau de Coulaine is a family-owned estate which has been operating continuously since 1300. Since 2014, Jean de Bonnaventure has been leading this stellar and organically certified Chinon domaine, where his is making balanced, textured, and succulent expressions of Cabernet Franc.

Vanessa Cherruau is a steward of one of the Loire’s great terroirs – Chaume. She has helped raise the image of dry Chenin made on the Chaume hill and is now unquestionably of the leaders of this qualitative surge in the area, with whites and reds of gorgeous purity and soaring minerality.
