Kanosuke Distillery is located on Fukiagehama Beach (the longest sand beach in Japan) in Kagoshima Prefecture. Founded in 2017 by respected Shochu distillery Komasa Jyozo, the distillery employs three pot stills with differing neck shapes and lyne arm angles, allowing endless distilling potential.

Located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Komasa Jyozo was founded in 1883. Using rice shochu as a base, Komasa nurtures local botanicals for its gin including Sakurajima komikan, Japan’s smallest mandarin orange, which takes its name from the active volcanic island from which it originates.
