REGION: Bordeaux
Château Moulin de Tricot is a tiny property established in the 19th Century by the ancestors of the current proprietor, Bruno Rey. The soils at Moulin de Tricot are a mix of sand and gravel sitting on a subsoil of clay and marl.
Chateau Pascaud dates to 1892 and today is a remarkable estate making elegant and textured Bordeaux. The vineyards are located next to, and in some cases, over the border into Fronsac, where the clay and limestone slopes and microclimate are very similar to the terroir found in nearby Saint Emilion.
Chateau Saint Julian is the second wine made by the team Chateau La Grangere team in St. Emilion. This certified organic wine, a rarity in Bordeaux, is from the limestone slopes of Entre-deux-Mers. It is one of the finest values in Bordeaux, showing depth and purity to its classical frame.
