Domaine de Fa was founded in 2013 by Graillot brothers Maxime and Antoine. When they decided to look North beyond the dramatic slopes of the Rhone Valley, they struck gold and purchased prime high-altitude vineyards in Fleurie and Saint Amour and are now making some of the finest wines in the area.
"Its [Le Perreon] vineyards number among the finest in the Beaujolais-Villages appellation, and their potential for high quality is exemplified by Domaine de la Madone. Beautifully balanced, supple and charming, these wines are delicious on release but also age with grace."-William Kelley, WA
Domaine des Marrans is located in Fleurie, in the heart of the northernmost section of Beaujolais. Founded in 1970, the current owner is the talented Mathieu Mélinand, who joined the domaine in 2008. With old vines and granite sites, Mathieu is growing some of the area’s most pristine Gamay.
