Saratoga Julep
Credit: c. 1839; revised for Skurnik Spirits
- 3 oz Neversink Apple Brandy
- .5 oz water
- .5 oz sugar
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 4-5 mint leaves
Delicately press several fresh mint leaves with sugar and water in a rocks glass or julep cup; add the bitters, then the Brandy; top with crushed ice and stir carefully; garnish with mint.
