Old Fashioned (variation)

For the spirit forward or boozier large format cocktails, it’s nice to find a clean glass bottle or pitcher, combine all ingredients, then pour into your guest’s glass over a large piece of ice.  Garnish each drink with a brandied cherry or an orange twist.
