Building on a career as celebrated sommelier at iconic American restaurants including The French Laundry and Per Se, André Hueston Mack transitioned his personal approach to wine to its production with the creation of Maison Noir Wines (formerly Moutin Noir) in 2007. His Oregon wines, created in relationship with some of the state’s most exciting growers, are unique yet easy-drinking and accessible both in concept and price. Now, Mack is bringing his winemaker’s approach and attention to producer relationships to American whiskey with the inaugural release of Rye & Sons, a Kentucky straight rye crafted in annual vintages.
