Raifuku Shuzo
Founded in 1716 in northern Ibaraki Prefecture, Raifuku Shuzo has been making sake with the Raifuku brand label for over 300 years. They have both a devout local following for their inexpensive futsu-shu popular at local pubs alongside a national and international following for their premium Ginjo grade sake. Emphasizing use of rice directly bought from local farmers and innovative yeast strains, they are a brewery rooted with traditions in the past while constantly striving for improvement.
