Los Valores Tequila

Tequila Los Valores stands among the younger new distilleries that have quietly reshaped tequila’s landscape over the past few decades. The fabrica was founded in 2019 by Ricardo Aguilar and his family in Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos, a small town in Jalisco located between the city of Guadalajara and Chapala, Mexico’s largest freshwater lake. Tequila in Jalisco is often categorized in terms of location—the highlands (altos) or the lowlands (valles); Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos is situated outside this binary, with its own unique terroir and microclimate. Los Valores Tequila, in turn, defies such easy categorization. As the industry continues to grow, it is a rare thrill to encounter a new producer of quality from a unique region, expanding the possibilities of Tequila!
