Juice Runners

Juice Runners is a ready-to-drink cocktail label created by the hip-hop duo Run the Jewels (aka RTJ), the group composed of Brooklyn-based rapper and producer El-P and Atlanta-born rapper Killer Mike.

Drawn to multi-disciplinary artistic partnerships since the team’s inception in 2013, Run the Jewels has worked with a wide range of global brands to create bespoke merchandise that speaks to their interest in artistic community and creative exchange. This collaborative ethos first extended to the beverage industry in the form of craft beer, which began as a passion project for RTJ as early as 2013, when they partnered with Goose Island on a Belgian wheat ale, but gained focus in 2017 with the debut of Stay G-O-L-D, a series of limited edition IPAs created with craft breweries around the country and abroad. The first iteration of Stay G-O-L-D, a collaboration with Interboro Spirits and Ales in Brooklyn, was voted 2017’s IPA of the Year by Draft Magazine.

Juice Runners represents RTJ’s expansion into the world of spirits, beginning with a ready-to-drink Paloma—the classic, carbonated combination of agave distillate, grapefruit, and lime—created in partnership with Rancho El Tinieblo in Tamaulipas, Mexico, and developed by Leif Huckman, former owner of the now-shuttered original Brooklyn location of acclaimed cocktail bar Donna.
