Fiorini
The Fiorini winery lies at the foot of Apennine mountains near Modena, in the region of Emilia-Romagna. In this area, where good eating is elevated to a form of art, you will find the age-old Sorbara and Grasparossa clones of Lambrusco cultivated to perfection.
The art of winemaker has been practiced at this estate for over 100 years, with their founding in 1919. Today the estate is comprised of 12 hectares focusing on two varieties of the Lambrusco family of grapes: Lambrusco di Sorbara – planted to sandy soils – that has a tendency to give a wine a vibrant pink sheen and a soft cascade of fruit, and Lambrusco di Grasparosso – planted to denser clay soils – that showcases a deep, dark color in the glass while providing plenty of structure and texture to serve as a perfect foil at the dinner table.
All of the Fiorini vineyards are worked by hand with fruit hand harvested from vines that are farmed by strict organic methods.
