Vino Nobile Montepulciano ‘Riserva Bossona’, Dei

100% Prugnolo Gentile sourced entirely from vineyards in the Bossona Cru with a South/Southwest exposure. Bossona is a 15ha amphitheater-shaped vineyard planted in sandy limestone soils.  The yields are extremely low. The wine is fermented in steel, with a long (30-32 day) fermentation period. It then ages for 3 years in tonneaux and an additional 1 year in bottle before release.

Review:
Shows mature notes of plum, leather and spice, but remains fresh and balanced. The firm structure carries a cherry accent through the lingering finish.

Review:
A silky, flavorful red with blueberry and chocolate character. Full body, round tannins and a chewy finish.
