La Côte is a unique site that showcases the distinct soil types of Sta. Rita Hills. It has the perfect amount of clay and silex with layers of decomposed diatomaceous earth. Just 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean, this marginal site and Sandhi’s westernmost vineyard source, manages to barely ripen Pinot Noir. La Côte was fermented with 100% whole clusters in wood vats.
