Langhe ‘Giarborina’ [Nebbiolo], Altare
100% Nebbiolo from two parcels – one planted in 1948 and one planted in 1989. Both parcels are planted in clay and sand soils with southern exposure. After pressing, the grapes are macerated on the skins for 3-4 days under temperature control. The wine is then aged in 100% new French oak for 18 months.
