Il Nero di Casanova [Sangiovese], Casanova della Spinetta

100% Sangiovese grown in calcareous soils at an average altitude of 250m. Alcoholic fermentation for 7-8 days at controlled temperature, malolactic fermentation in oak.  Aged in medium-toasted French oak for 9 months, then transferred to stainless-steel vats for 2 months before bottling unfined/unfiltered.
