Favia’s Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from select blocks at Oakville Ranch, high above the valley floor in the eastern hills of Oakville. These red, iron rich soils produce wines of great stature, and profound complexity. The 2013 vintage is textbook Napa Valley: dark chocolate, plum, espresso, and crushed stones as well as cassis and black fruits, Thai basil, molasses, and clay. This wine’s mouth-coating tannins will continue to round, while its density will help it to age for decades.
