Vins de Terrer

Vins de Terrer is a project that has been created under the guidance of the Raventós family in order to continue making top quality wines in collaboration with local farmers. The varieties used in the Vins de Terrer sparkling wines are indigenous grapes.

The wines produced in this new venture are the result of a close collaboration between the Raventós Family, with their winemaking skills and years of experience and the local Penedés farmers. Penedés is a traditional wine-producing region in Spain and one of the most ancient viticulture areas in Europe.

The sparkling wine, called La Vida al Camp, is inspired by the “Cabaler,” Jaume Raventós’ book from 1898 “La Vida al Camp, memòries d’un cabaler“,where he explains his childhood experiences on the farm in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. He is an ancestor of the Raventós family and describes in detail what life was like on the Penedés farms at that time and how farmers in the region worked the land with respect and love for local matters.

The unique microclimate of each plot, the way each vine is handled, the topographical expression of the region, which along with a respectful oenological criteria and working together with the local farmers, has enabled us to achieve a great balance in our wines. Each one of them, acquiring a unique personality, which defines our style.
