Bodegas y Vinedos Artazu

Artazu is old vineyards. Painstaking viticulture and the nearly-lost heritage of growing old vines make this project the perfect symbiosis between oblivion and the vanguard.

Artazu began in 1996 in the historical wine region of Navarra. The viticultural area is well defined by both brown-limestone and clay-calcareous soils. These are nutrient-poor and rugged plots, where the climate is hard and full of contrasts: dry and hot in the summer, and cold and humid in the winter.

The resurrection of these ancestral customs– often denounced– offers an authentic variety: Atlantic Garnacha.
